CONCRETE ROAD DAMAGED
RAILWAY VEHICLE RUNS AMOK

Considerable damage to the newly laid concrete in Walham Road was done when a 25-ton electric battery car, belonging to tho Railway Department, crashed through the fence of the railway yard at G o'clock in the morning and, Stopping about two feet, finished with the fore-carriago right across the road. The car itself, except for a bent king pin, was undamaged.
