ELDERLY MAN’S SUICIDE

WORRY CAUSED BY ILL HEALTH.

Aug. 17.

With the top of his head blown off, Alfred King, a middle-aged man, was found dead in a sleeping hut at the rear of R. Musson’e bakery yesterday. King was formerly in charge of one of Musson’s coffee stalls. He was found lying on the floor of the hut with a shotgun across hie chest. Some weeks ago another employee was found dead in another of the sleeping huts, a verdict of suicide being returned. At the inquest into the death of King to-day evidence was given by his fellow employees that he had been worried and depressed lately owing to his indifferent health. The coroner, Mr. E. C. Levvey, S.M., returned a verdict of suicide.
