DAIRY PRODUCE PAY-OUTS

FIGURES FROM LARGER FACTORIES Now that most of the dairy factories in the Dominion have held their annual meetings it is . possible to form some idea of the amount of butter produced, and of the pay-outs made from tho larger factories. The figures in the fol- / lowing table are all for the 19284929 season, and are taken from tho balancesheets of the respective companies,. Unless where otherwise marked, the list shows the total average payment for all grades (not for finest quality only), and the figures show the actual amount received in cash by a supplier holding fully-paid shares in the company, AU “payment to suppliers’' in the form of cream cartage subsidy, reserves, depreciation, etc., have been eliminated. The output of the factory determines its order in this list: — TARANAKI AND MANAWATU.
