KAIMATA. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The young people’s annual ball took place on Tuesday night, and was not so well patronised as was expected, but everyone had a good time. The decorations were beautiful and no trouble was spared by the committee to make the ball an enjoyable one. The supper room was prettily decorated with pink and mauve streamers, and the tables were gay with greenery and pink and mauve stocks. Harris’ orchestra supplied the music, extras being played by Miss M. Tippins, Mr. Hex' Adlam and Mr. Harry Lobson. An excellent supper was served by the young ladies. The lucky spot danco was won by Mr. A. Greigg and Miss B. Jones. Mr. and Mrs. F. Bracegirdle are about again after an attack of the ’flu. Mrs. Klenner is home again after spending a few days at Stratford. Miss G. Bocock, Stratford, spent a few davs at her home here.
