COTTON INDUSTRY DISPUTE
PARTIES DISCUSS ARBITRATION. (British Official Wireless.) Rugby, Aiigust 14. A meeting of the committee of both the employers’ organisations concerned in the cotton dispute to-day decided to invito the operatives to a joint conference to see if the constitution of the proposed Court of Arbitration and its terms of reference can be satisfactorily arranged. It is stated that there can be no question of re-opening the mills until the terms of the proposed arbitration are mutually a* ranged. It is understood that the employers will meet the operatives’ representatives to-morrow.
