MAN KILLED ON WHARF
KNOCKED DOWN BY TRUCKS. By Telegraph—Press Association. ■Wellington, Last Night. Andrew Archibald, a waterside worker, 77 years of age,.was run over and killed instantly by a rake of trucks on the railway wharf at G.lO to-night. Several trucks were beinshunted to No. 3 berth of the railway wharf, where they connected with other stationary trucks and set them ; n motion. Archibald, who was behind these, apparently was knocked down, the wheels passing over his chest. Archibald lived with his wife at 33, Coromandel Street.
