UNSETTLED WEATHER LATER.
By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will be fair generally at first with milder temperatures. Unsettled conditions arid rain will develop gradually in western districts from Taranaki southwards and will extend to other parts during the next 48 hours. Winds will be northerly generally and moderate to strong. Gale force is probable at times from Cook Strait southwards. Seas will be rough in Fouveax Strait and smooth to moderate elsewhere at first, but will rise south of Cape Egmont.
