TE AUTE V. NEW PLYMOUTH B.H.S. POPULAR MATCH TO MORROW. The annual school football match between New Plymouth Boys’ High School and Te Aute College, which for many years has been one of the most popular Rugby fixtures in. Taranaki, takes place" at Pukekura Park,-. New Plymouth, to-morrow. The Te Aute team arrived last night, and will be the guests of the Taranaki Rugby Union during their stay in New Plymouth. The Te Aute team is a strong one, containing a number of last year’s caps, and included in it as centre three-quarter is Ruru, the Hawke’s Bay representative. The team has been announced as follows:— TE AUTE. (Red and Black.) J. Thompson J. Tuhiwai J. Ruru J. Rei D. Heperi D. Durie P. Gemmell W. F. Tibble C. White J. Keretene H. Karaka R. Paenga J. Aupouri R. Paerata J. ‘ Pohokura Emergencies: Backs,. N. Kihi, W. P. Hunter; forwards, F. Whaonga, B. Oaks. The personnel of the Nev/ Plymouth High School team has not yet been definitely settled, but the coach (Mr. A. J. Papps) informed a News’ representative yesterday that it would probably be the same team that met Wanganui College. This team was as follows: — SCHOOL.
