LABOUR EUCHRE PARTY
SUCCESSFUL EVEXING HELD. A euchre party organised by the New Plymouth branch of the New Zealand Labour Party was held in the 'Workers’ Social Hall on Monday evening. All available floor-space was taken, 60 tables being in play. The party funds will benefit considerably by the effort. Mr. A. White, president of the branch, thanked those present for their attendance, and the ladies’ committee for their very valuable help. The prize-winners were: Ladies, Mrs. Johnson 1, Mrs. C. Jury 2, Mrs; Hairey 3, Mrs. Moy 4, Mrs. Ngaldi's. Men, Mr. D. Beggs 1, Mr. Goldfinch 2, Mr. N. Goodwin 3, Mr. A. Fox 4, Mr. B. Bell 5.
