The following are the entries for the principal events at the Christchurch Hunt Club’s annual steeplechase meeting at Riccarton on Saturday, August 3:— ’ LONGBEACH HURDLES, of 150 sovs, Once round and a distance. —Paris, Troilus, Elysianor, Kawini. Perle de Leon, Bonogne, Projector, Lancer, Rangiawhio, Heisler, Overhaul, Aberfcldy, Gala Day. HOMEBY STEEPLECHASE, of 170 sovs. About two miles and a half.— Lord Ranald, llendowie, Radiate, Young Thurnham, Maunga, Mainspring, Fabriano, Te Rehu, King’s Guard. BRABAZON HANDICAP (flat), of 120 sovs. Seven furlongs. —Solrose, King Balboa, Bonogne, Evening, Circulation, Solferite, Rascal, Overdrawn, Sagittarius, Taboo, Gay Sonnet, Subdivision, Battle Colours, Arikiwai, Malmsey, Perle de Leon, Anolo, Royal Tractor, Black Duke, Prickles, Pangolin, Chick wheat, Royal Game.
