EARLY ADJOURNMENT EXPECTED

Statements upon naval policy and the conversations regarding disarmament are expected to be° made° by the Prime Minister before tlie House adjourns. The members will also be asked to approve ’of the supplementary estimates, amounting to £206,000, of which about £lOO,OOO will be contributed to the National Radium Trust, the remainder "Oiii" to the National Gallery to assist in the purchase of the Wilton diptych and Titian’s picture of the Cormaro family. The grant in respect of radium is made on the basis of £1 for every £1 provided by voluntary contribution to augment the supply for the treatment of "the sick and for the advancement of knowledge in -undergoing such treatment.
