London, July 21. The political correspondent of th« Sunday Times states that reassuring messages have been sent to the Dominions in reference to the Rt. Hon. P, Snowden’s statement concerning the ending of the preferences. It hag been indicated indirectly that any interference could only be in the distant future, and that on British revenue grounds alone there need be no anxiety that the preferences will bo abolished.
