BASKETBALL COMPETITION
POSSIBLES V. PROBABLES. The Possibles v. Probables basketball match is to be played at Tariki on Saturday, July 27 (not Thursday as previously advertised). Results of matches played last Saturday in the southern division were: — Hawera 29 defeated Norfolk 3. Inglewood 27 defeated Stratford Saturday 5. Tariki won by default from Stratford Thursday. Primary school matches resulted: Inglewood A 17 defeated St. Joseph’s A 5; Inglewood C 22 defeated Westown CO.
