LOSS OF TWO FINGERS.
SEVERED BY A CIRCULAR SAW. Catching his hand in a goose saw in the timber mill of Parker, Lamb, Limited, Auckland, on Friday morning, Mr. John Wright, whose home is 51, Tutanekai Road, Grey Lynn, suffered the loss of two fingers on the right hand. The saiw, which is used for squaring the ends of timber, had run forward in the usual way, but went back suddenly, catching Mr. Wright’s hand. The injured man was removed to the hospital by the St. John Ambulance.
