20,000 PLAN DEMONSTRATION.

Newcastle, July 22. Preparations are being made for .a march of 20,000 unemployed miners from Newcastle to Sydney (104 miles) in a solid body, in order to demonstrate to the citizens of the State capital the effects of the dispute on northern coalfields and bring pressure on the Government for the re-opening of the closed collieries.
The march will be timed so that the men will arrive in Sydney to meet the Premier, Mr. T. R. Bavin,* on hi« return from abroad.
