CYCLIST FATALLY INJURED
COLLISION ON STREET CORNER. By Telegraph—Press Association. Palmerston N., Last Night. Walter Messenger, a married man 56 years of age, a freezing works employee, died at the public hospital to-night from injuries received in a motor-accident. Messenger was riding a motor-cycle, across the intersection of Princess and Church streets when he collided with a car driven by H. E. Bergersen, Palmerston North. He was thrown heavily to the ground, sustaining severe injuries to the head, and died in the hospital approximately three and a-half hours after the accident.
