MYSTERIOUS AIR SMASH
NO PLANE REPORTED MISSING. By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Sydney, July 10. A message from Broken Hill states that, fhough the police and civilian search parties have been following up emphatic stories told by several reputable persons that a plane, apparently in flames, was seen to nose dive into rough country near ■Roekly on Sunday, no trace of the machine has been found. Four persons in a car saw an aeroplane nose dive, emitting black smoke. Strangely enough no plane was scheduled to arrive at Broken Hill and none left New South Wales or Victorian aerodromes, but H may have come from South Australia.
