Ali Ahmed Jan, brother-in-law of exiting Amanullah of Afghanistan, who, after Anianullah’s flight from Kabul, turned traitor and proclaimed himself King of Jalalabad and Kandahar, has been shot at the order of Bacchasakao, the rebel king, because he refused to swear allegiance to Bacchasakao.
