A party of Grecian people have been detained on the Niagara pending a reply from Wellington whether they shall be allowed to land. They deny that they are gypsies and claim to be experienced tradesmen. The leader of the party says that, if not allowed to stay here, he will go to Sydney or Queensland and open a garage.
