INTER-SCHOOL RUGBY GAME
WANGANUI PLAYS NEW PLYMOUTH The Wanganui Technical College Rugby team to play New Plymouth Boys’ High School to-morrow will arrive in New Plymouth to-night. This annual match has previously been played at Hawera. This will be the first inter-school match played by the New Plymouth boys this season, but the Wanganui visitors have played one game, having defeated Wanganui Collegiate School. The visitors will be billeted with the New Plymouth boys and will return home on Thursday. A description of the match will be broadcast by 2YB at the request of old boys in other parts of the Dominion. The New Plymouth team has not yet been selected. The Wanganui team will be:— Full-back: J. B. Ellis. Three-quarters: R. Mete King!, J. Warren, H. Pargeter. Five-eighths: T. A. Welsh, M. E. Miles. Half: J. A. Bly th. Rover: C. Hutchinson. Forwards: K. E. 'Bassett (captain), H. McDonald, E. Lauvatu, M. R. Coup, M. P. Luxford, J. Wilkie, W. A. Thompson. . “ Emergencies; Back, J. Mete King!; forwards, J. Allen and J. O’Brien.
