SAVAGE AND ORPHAN CLUBS
ANNUAL CONFERENCE HELD. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, July 15.A conference of delegates to the Association of Kindred Clubs (comprising Savage and Orphan Clubs) was held on Saturday. Delegates were present from all over New Zealand. Officers were elected as follow: —President, C. E. Jones; vice-president, R. C. T. Evans (Dunedin), C. Adail (Gisborne) and T. Garland (Auckland); honorary secretary and treasurer, A. E. Laoch; honorary auditor, A. R. Sherris. It was decided that the 1931 conference should be held at Palmerston North.
The annual report stated that the affiliated clubs totalled 40 with a membership of 8000.
