Amery, Colonial Secrctar in the late Conservative Governmeni welcomed the proposal, which he d'e scribed as a continuity of the polio; laid down by the Conservative Party, The Conservatives and Liberals sup ported the motion by Commander Si E. Hilton Young thanking Mr. Thoma for so promptly carrying out the pledgei given by Conservative candidates at the election. (Laughter.) ■
