NAVAL DISARMAMENT PLAN
DISCUSSION OF THE PROCEDURE
(British Official Wireless.) - Rugby, July 12.
The conversations which are continuing between the Prime Minister and the United States Ambassador, General Dawes, in regard to naval disarmament have so far only dealt with matters of procedure. The importance of reaching a general agreement is such that special care is being taken in preparing the lines which future negotiations shall follow, and no dramatic development in the situation is therefore to be expected. Nevertheless, no time is being lost in pressing forward with the necessary preparatory work.
