NO BROADCASTING OF MATCH.

ARRANGEMENTS IMPOSSIBLE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, July 12. The Broadcasting Company advises that there will be no broadcast in New Zealand of the match to be played in Melbourne to-morrow. It has been found impossible to make the necessary arrangements. The Broadcasting Company will send out progress reports as they come to hand. There will also be no re-broadcast of running descriptions of the matches to be played in. Brisbane, owing to the fact that there is no short-wave broadcasting station in Queensland which could satisfactorily carry out the work. Progress repoi-ts will be promptly broadcast.

The Broadcasting Company expects to be able to make satisfactory arrangements in respect to the third test, to bo played at - Sydney on July 27.
