EARTHQUAKE DISASTER

GOVERNOR TO VISIT WEST COAST. TOUR WITH LADY FERGUSSON. By Telegraph—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The Governor-General and Lady Alice Fergusson propose to visit next week some of the areas on the west coast of the South Island which have been badly affected by the earthquake. Leaving Wellington on Tuesday e\ennext their Excellencies will arrive at Greymouth the following afternoon. The next morning (Thursday) they will leave Greymouth by motor, arriving at Westport that afternoon. Friday and Saturday will be spent in the Westport and Seddonville areas and on Sunday afternoon Reefton will bo reached.

On July 22 their Excellencies will leave Reefton for Murchison provided the roads are not impassable and they hope to reach there early that afternoon. They will stay at Murchison for the night and will leave the following day for Nelson, catching the steamer the same evening for Wellington, where they are to arrive on the morning of July 24.
