VALUABLE HOME BURNED
BANKS PENINSULA BLAZE. By Telegraph—Press Association. Christchurch, July 12. A fire at Menzies Bay, Banks Peninsula, destroyed the homestead of William Menzies, valued at over £4OOO, and insured for half that amount. Valuable Maori carvings were lost.
