Thought can be made a habit, just like a "daily act; this isn’t just idle theory, but honest-to-goodness fact. And. whether our thought-life’s sunny, or on the look-out for storm-, depends entirely on ourselves, and the habit we learn to It’s habit that makes the gloomy Deans instead of the old King Coles! It’s habit that wakes with the “morn-
incr face” that “R.L.S.” extols! It’s habit that counts the blessings o’er, instead of the frets and jars; and its habit that sees beyond the clouds to the ever-twinkling stars! Inborn kinks and inherent traits keeping you “in the rough?” Fiddlesticks. Don’t you believe a word of that pessimistic stuff! Tell yourself over and over again, to the same old cheerful rhyme, you can wash-and-brush-up ie shabbiest thoughts —it’s a habit, eveiy time!
