REPRESENTATIVE HOCKEY
WAIRARAPA DEFEAT WANGANUI. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Masterton, Last Night. In a representative hockey match today between Wanganui and Wairarapa, the latter won by four to two after a hard, fast game. Wairarapa dominated play in the first half, but were unable to score, the Wanganui defence being impenetrable. In the second spell the pace was also fast. Scorers for Wairarapa were Goodin (2), G. Riggs and Gallon. For Wanganui Thrush and Groombridge scored.
