SYDNEY THEFT EPIDEMIC

As a result of five arrests yesterday, hundreds of suburban robberies during recent, weeks have been cleared up and property valued at £3OOO has been recovered. Six stolen cars have also been discovered. A Welshman of 19 years, who deserted from a ship and who became known as the “Lone Wolf,” has been captured and £1(100 worth of goods recovered. Ho was due to leave Australia in a few hours.
