London, July'LU Protesting that the enormous sum of £392,292 subscribed by the public for tho purchase of radium as a thank offering for the King’s recovery is- still lying idle, the Daily Mail’s medical correspondent points out it would suffice to equip 34 centres throughout the country with enougn tadim to treat urgent case# of cancer which remain untreated owing to lack of radium. He .states Bo order? for radium have yet been placed. ■
