CRIBBAGE AND FIVE HUNDRED
FIRE BRIGADE PROVE TOO GOOD.
The “Printers” were the guests of the New Plymouth Fire Brigade at a card and social evening last night, but the concerted play of the guardians of the town’s welfare proved superior to that of visitors, and they ran out winners by a comfortable margin. Following were the scores, the Brigade being mentioned first:— Cribbage.—F. Newell and. Revell 4 v. Hoskin and Austin, 8; J. Johnson and F. Newell 8, Martin and Evans 9; H. Inch and A. Couitney 11 v. A. Voule and F. McKay 5; Remington and R. H. Sole 10 v. C. McLeod and Whiting 4; Brigade 33, Printers 26. Five hundred. —T. Roberts and T. Williams 5 v. G. Neale and Rawson 3; J. Inch and R.
