The personnel of the Mawson expedltion was announced to-day as follows! Commander, Sir Douglas Mawson; medical officer, Dr. Wilson Ingram, formerly lecturer of physiology at' Sydney University; senior zoologist, Professor Harvey Johnston, of Adelaide University j. assistant zoologists, Messrs. 11. Fletcher, Australian museum, Sydney, and Falla, of New Zealand; chemist, Mr. Alfred "Howard, graduate of Melbourne University; plankton expert, Mr. Marr, who was associated with the former Discovery expedition; meteorologist, Mr. R. G-. Simmers, New Zealand- survey officer, Mr. H. Moyes, of H.M.S. Penguin; echo sounding and wireless expert, Petty Officer Williams, appointed in England; official photographer and cinema expert, Mr. Frank Hurley. The pilot will bo Mr. S. Campbell, of H.M.A.S. Albatross. Two other scientists may be appointed while, if accommodation can bo found, a physicist. will be added to the party. An additional pilot will- also be selected. ■ ■ • -
