SCHEME TO SEIZE THRONE RAID MADE ON RINGLEADERS “DICTATOR” NOW PRISONER By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright, Australian Press Association. Received July 9, 11.5 p.m. Berlin, July 9. A plot to kidnap the leaders of the Roumanian Parliament and seize the Government offices, replacing the boy King with a military dictatorship in the interests of Prince Carol, has been frustrated as the result of a dramatic raid yesterday at the ringleaders’ headquarters in Bucharest and other towns. Two hundred rebel officers were arrested. General Angelescu, ex-War Minister, instead of being a dictator is now a prisoner in his own house. No news is allowed to be -published in Roumania.
