The Agents-General, Sir James Parr and 5000 Salvationists witnessed Prince George open the Booth Memorial Training College at Denmark Hill. It consists of 12 houses, in which 350 men and 250 women can be accommodated. The Prince said it fulfilled a great man’s dream. He had established a University of Humanity, in which men and women could be trained in all the phases of useful endeavour.
