J. Linkhorn, a Hawera business man, who lived in Rotorua and North Auckland before coining to Hawera several years ago. it was a remarkable story, said Mr. Linkhorn, especially to him, for he had first met Sarah Munga, as she was known, at Rotorua in 1902 and he had known her well in succeeding years before she had shifted to the Whakatane district. The Maoris had expressed ignorance as to the birthplace of Sarah.
