EXPLOSION ON STEAMER

The Danish steamer Anneborg wirelessed to-day that a vessel was seen to sink after an explosion 25 miles north of Yarmouth, Norfolk. Lifeboats and other vessels, including the warship Selkirk, searched without result, discovering only a few pieces of wreckage. There was no trace of the crew nor any clue to the name of the missing vessel. The story is explained by the arrival of the Dutch steamer Gelderland at linmingham with 18 men picked up from a lifeboat off Cromer, com prising the entire crew of the steamer Boete, which ran aground and has broken up.
