BURGLARY AT TE KUITI

DRAPERY SHOP ROBBED. GOODS WORTH £2OO MISSING. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Te Kuiti, July 6. A daring burglary was committed during Thursday night or early on Friday morning, when' Allingham’s drapery emporium, in the main street, was entered and a large quantity of goods was stolen. Mr. Allingham states it is difficult to ascertain the full extent of his loss without a stocktaking. It is thought that about £2OO worth of men’s clothing has been removed. The large quantity of goods taken suggests that the burglars had a motor vehicle in which to take the goods away. The premises of T. J. Benson, grocer, were also broken into, but the thieves secured only a few shillings.
