In the diamond sculls final at Henley Gunther (Holland) beat Joo Wright (Canada) by three feet in Smin 42sec. In the grand challenge the Leander Club beat th© Thames Club by two lengths in seven minutes. The Grand Challenge Cup was won last year by Thames Rowing Club from First Trinity Boating Club in Gmin 56 sec.. For the Diamond Sculls J. Wright junior (Argonaut Rowing Club, Canada) defeated R. T. Lee (Worcester College, Oxford) in Bmin 24sec.
