M.C.C.—Oxford in the first innings made 169 (Bowe took four wickete for 35), and in the second 183. M.C.C. in the first inniirgs made 227 (Holmes 88, Armitage 105; Garland Wells took four wickets for 47), and in the second 68 for four wickets. The match was drawn. Surrey v. Warwickshire. —Surrey in the first innings made 237 (Shepherd 116; Partridge took five wickets for 68). Warwickshire in the first innings made 341 for three wickets (Kilner 121, Wyatt 161). Warwick won on the first innings. Worcester v. Sussex.—Worcester in the first innings made 95 (Tate took four for 32), and in the second 239 (Gibbons 86; Tate took six wickets for 75). Sussex in the first innings made 308 for seven wiejkets iwd declared (Bowley, 69, Cook 81), and in the second 27 for four wickets (Root took three wickets for 6). Sussex W'on by six wickets. Yorkshire v. Dei'byshire.-—Yorkshire in the first innings made 239 (Worthington took five wickets for 72 and Townsend four for 26), and in the second 37 for three wickets. Derbyshire in the first innings made 156 (Robinson took five wickets for 64). Yorkshire won on the first innings. Gloucester v. Essex—Gloucester in the first innings made 432 for three wickets (Sinfield 113, Lyon 130). The match was drawn. Nottinghamshire v. Glamorgan. —■ Nottingham in the first innings made 512 for six wickets and declared (Whysall 98, Gunn 178, Payton not out 116). Glamorgan in the first innings made 107 (Larwood took six wickets for 54), and in the second 78 (Larwood took five wickets for 19 and Barrat four for 41). Nottinghamshire won by an innings and 327 runs. Hampshire v. Middlesex—Hampshire in the first innings made 117 (Haig took four wickets for 23 j, and in the second 289 for nine wickets and declared. Middlesex in the first innings made 152 (Leo 94; Herman took five wickets for 45), and in the second 111 for three wickets). Middlesex won on the first innings. Somerset v.
