FLIGHT BY GRAF ZEPPELIN FOUR GIANT HOPS PROPOSED 20 PASSENGERS CARRIED By Telegraph—Press Assn.—Copyright. Australian Press Association. Received July 4, 10.30 p.m. Berlin, July 3. Starting before the middle of August, Herr Eckener intends to navigate the Graf Zeppelin round the world in 14 flying days, leaving approximately nine days for refuelling and receptions. He will take 20 passengers. The total flying distance will be 20,000 miles. The longest non-stop flight will be between Friedrichsaven and Tokio, a distance of 6500 miles. ■ From Tokio the next "hop” will bo to San Diego, Lakehurst and Friedrichsaven, making four giant stages. A route via North Hawaii will be followed across the Pacific Ocean.
