FAIR, MILD WEATHER FROM NORTH

By Telegraph.—Press Association. Wellington, Last Night. The weather will mainly be fair to fine with mild temperatures, but will become unsettled and showery in the western districts of the South Island and about Foveaux Strait. There will bo north-east to north winds over tho North Island. Elsewhere the winds will be northerly, light to moderate at first, but later freshening generally. Seas will be generally smooth to moderate, but will rise later south of Cape Egmont.
