News from Salt Lake City states that blizzards swept across the sheep ranges in north-eastern Utah to-day,, maroonino, large flocks and leaving scores of these animals frozen to death or starving in snowdrifts. Nada, which is the centre of the sheep country, reported that the mercury was 3Sdeg. below zero, the coldest ever recorded there. Sheepmen reported that it was impossible to reach their flocks. Some are attempting to save their flocks by hauling hay 138 miles from Price.
