SCHOONER’S ROUGH PASSAGE
DUST STORM OVER TASMAN SEA. By Telegraph—Press Assn. —Copyright. Received Oct. 10, 7.5 p.m. Sydney, Oct. 10. The schooner Margaret W. arrived today from Gisborne. Captain Watchlin reports a stormy passage of 16 days. Four hundred miles off the Australian coast the vessel encountered a dust storm. Visibility was less than a mile in the day time while the dust lasted.
