PETROLS ALLEGEDLY MIXED
ACTION TAKEN IN CANTERBURY. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, Last Night. The Vacuum Oil Company has applied to the Supreme Court for an injunction against the National Service Stations, Ltd., which acts as selling agents for petrol imported to the order of the Canterbury Automobile Association. The Vacuum Company alleges the service company has been mixing spirit with another, selling it as C.A.A. spirit, and the injunction is sought to prevent the continuance of such action on the ground that it is calculated to be prejudicial against the operation of the Vacuum Company in that the addition of Plume spirit may lend the public to believe C.A.A. spirit is of better quality than it really is.
