FIRE OUTBREAK ON STEAMER
BLAZE AT SYDNEY WHARF. Telegraph--Press Assn. —Copyright. Sydney, Oct. 9. Fire broke out this afternoon in the afterhold of the steamer Benalla, which was unloading steelwork for the harbour bridge at North Shore, and required the attention of a firefloab and several brigade crews before it was suppressed. The cause is unknown, and the amount of the damage is not yet assessable.
