UNEMPLOYMENT IN BRITAIN
INCREASE SHOWN IN FIGURES. British Official Wireless. Rugby, Oct. 9. The number of unemployed in Great Britain on October 1 showed a further increase of 41,166, compared with the week before. Compared with a year ago the increase is 260,525. The total of unemployed is 1,336,400.
