DAIRY PRODUCTION RISES

NORTH TARANAKI POSITION RECORD START OF 1927 BEATEN’. BIG INCREASE IX CHEESE OUTPUT. Dairy production in North Taranaki has increased by 9.3 per cent, over last year’s record for the period from June 30 to October <5, according to the returns supplied the di’ ectors of the Producers’ Freezing Works yesterday. The 1927 period was considered to be a splendid start for the industry, and it was ' only the misfortune of the dry spell later on that prevented a record being established over the whole season.
