LARGE SAWMILL CLOSED

The Port Craig sawmill, controlled by the Marlborough Timber Company, of Christchurch, closed down for a period indefinite to-day. The mill employed a large number of hands and the tug Southland has been chartered to bring out the employees and their families. The cause of the closure is unknown here.
