LEO DIEGEL’S DECISIVE WIN. By Telegraph—Pres? Assn.—Copyright. Received Oct. 7, 11.5 p.m. Baltimore, Oct. 6. Leo Diegel, who yesterday defeated Walter Hagen, to-day won the national professional golf championship by defeating Espinosa 6 up and 5 to play. The new champion gained a four-hole advantage in the morning round, adding two more in the afternoon. The match ended on the 31st green, when both holed in par (three), Diegel having gone dormie at the 30th. •
