MORE RAIN PROBABLE.
Dy Telegraph.—Press Association'. Wellington, Last Night. Strong north to north-west winds, reaching gale force at places in and south of Cook Strait, seas rough south of Cape Egmont and a rather rough swell south of Castlepoint were forecasted last night. Elsewhere moderate to strong north-west to westerly winds to gales in the eastern Tasman, and with rough to high seas may be expected. The weather is likely to be unsettled with rain on the west coast of the South Island. Elsewhere temporarily fair but again becoming unsettled shortly with some rain in most districts and thunder probable in places. Warm temperatures are anticipated.
